  • Who can open this account?
    Resident Pakistanis with a valid CNIC can request to open UBL Tezraftar Asaan Digital Account.
  • What type of accounts can I apply for using this service?
    You can apply for a Conventional or Islamic Current account using this service.
  • Do I have to visit Branch at any time?
    No, you can easily apply for this account from the convenience of your living room using UBL Digital Website through your laptops or mobile devices.
    If all the information you provide is validated, your account will be activated, and you will be informed about it via email on your registered Email address. However, if your information needs further clarification to activate your account, you may be required to submit the additional information through our website or you may be contacted by our Branch/Contact Center representative.
  • My mobile number is not registered on my name, can I apply for this digital account?
    Unfortunately, no. We must authenticate your mobile number with your CNIC and in case the two don’t match we have to stop the account opening process as this is a requirement from State bank of Pakistan.
  • Do I need proof of income document for Asaan Digital Remittance Account (ADRA)?
    No, you will have to accept self-declaration while submitting the account opening form online for proof of income.
  • How soon can I start using my account?
    You can start using your account as soon as your information has been verified and you get an email confirming your account number.
  • Can I open this account if I already have another account with UBL?
    No, you need to be a new customer to be eligible to apply for this account.
  • Will there be any restriction on my UBL Digital Account?
    Upon activation of your account, you will be given 60 days to get your account biometrically verified by using the UBL Digital App, 1440+ ATMs and a wide network of 1345+ branches. Once the account is biometric verified, there are no restrictions on your account.
    Non-biometric accounts will stay active for 60 days only and will be temporarily blocked if the status is not changed.
  • Does this product offer a Debit Card?
    Yes, this product gives you the liberty to choose from different Debit cards available. Please refer to the Schedule of Charges for any applicable fees.
  • Can I use a cheque book with this account?
    Yes, you can request for a cheque book via the UBL Digital App. Please refer to the Schedule of Charges for any applicable fees.
  • What will be the maximum credit balance limit for ADRA?
    Maximum credit balance limit of PKR 3,000,000 is allowed for ADRA.
  • What will be cash withdrawal limit per day for ADRA?
    Cash withdrawal limit of PKR 500,000 per day.
  • Can I transfer funds from ADRA to any other accounts and what will be the limits?
    Yes, you can transfer the funds from ADRA to any other Accounts. Fund transfer limit of PKR 500,000 per day is applicable.
  • Can I do local credit to my ADRA and what will be the limits?
    This account may be fed through local credit to the extent of PKR 1,000,000 per month. A local credit is a funds transfer between local banks.
  • Can I deposit commercial remittances in my ADRA?
    No commercial remittances shall be deposited in the account.
  • My signature doesn’t match my CNIC’s signature. I want to change the signature for this account, can I do it?
    While uploading digital signature on the account opening form, please download Indemnity form, which is available online during the account opening process and sign the form for new signature considerations. Following is the process:
    • Download the indemnity form during the account opening process.
    • Fill and sign the form.
    • Scan and upload the form with the online account opening application.
    • Submit your request.
