Pakistan Investment Bonds (Floaters)

is a conventional Floater Coupon bond, bearing bond classification of Par + Coupon. The Pricing is based on market determined yields.

  • Issuer: Government of Pakistan
  • Coupon: 6 Month weighted Average yield of TBILL + Spread (paid semi-annually)
  • Tenor: 10 Years
  • Denominations: Multiple of 100,000 Pak rupees
  • Withholding Tax: Deducted at source (as per government regulations)
  • Sale of Bills: Through designated Primary Dealers
  • Redemption: PIBs shall not be redeemable before maturity
  • Tradable: PIBs are script less & traded freely in the Secondary Market and are transferable.
  • Custodianship As the PIBs are script less instruments, client’s holding are held in the Investor Portfolio Services (IPS) Account managed through Subsidiary General Ledger Accounts with banks.
